History of this amazing dish…

Origins are believed to date back to the 1940s and the 1960s. Spaghetti with Bolognese sauce was first introduced by the Americans and was embraced and tweaked to make it truly Filipino.

Almost every fast food joint in the Philippines has a version of this Creamy Dish, I know one of my favorites is Jollibee. I know when I go home I can hardly wait to go to the restaurant so I can dive right in.

There are so many versions on how to cook this, and I know each and every family will have their own special twist, so be sure to try various ones till you find that one special recipe, which I know will be mine. The truly special ingredient though is finding that Filipino Spaghetti Sauce. I will leave a link to Amazon where you will be sure to find that and Banana Ketchup just in case there is not an Asian store near where you live.
